  1. Some of their favorite wine or champagne, gift certificates to florists are never a bad idea. You could send them a picture frame, a bouquet and a gift certificate for a nice dinner, or something that suits them specifically. my fiance and I love our pets, so a cute wedding-ish/pet/love sort of gag gift would be fun, we love camping, so anything like that would be good, and I'd die of happy if someone sent us a new set of sheets and a comforter, though I know that's a little much and more of wedding gift. XD

Obviously don't send them the gifts I said 'cause that's what my fiance and I like, choose something that suits their likes and preferences, those were just examples.

  2. A bottle of champagne? Or you could make them a "romantic night in kit"...just buy a nice big gift bow and put chamagne and two glasses...chocolate (nice ones) a nice cd and a book of love poetry.

  3. what about a album of pictures of them

  4. s**y lingerie, a s*x game, or red high heels & a whip.

  5. expensive bottle of wine or champagne. find a love poem and have it framed. buy a gift that can have the engagement date engraved on it.

  6. You don't give presents for engagement. That is just being silly! The couple announces their engagement just so you know they will be planning a wedding. Sometimes they, or their parents, toss them a party to celebrate and that is usually when the wedding day is announced. If you feel really generous and are flush with cash, you could take some flowers for the hostess or a nice bottle of champagne but, really, a gift is NOT required!! Grab a cute congratulations card and wish them the best, then save your $$ for the wedding gift.

  7. Not very original but photo frames or album are always good.
