I will sit here, once I have posted, and know John Doe must be reading my discussion post and thinking Wow. She’s a rambler.

I need to know what to do with this sentence. Should I not have wow capitalized? Should I not have She's capitalized?

thanks!!

  1. You can amend the sentence to read more smoothly, like this:

I will sit here once I have posted, and know that John Doe must be reading my discussion post, thinking: "Wow, she's a rambler!"

There are eight places I have fine-tuned with removal/addition of commas, and inclusion of :  " and ! to make the expression flow better.  An exclamation mark can be used to good effect to show a strong emotion when used for anger, surprise, a shout, etc--such as 'I hate you!' , 'Take this!' .Focus more on the use of punctuations to enhance  your writing. Cheers!  :-))

  2. I think it should read like,

I will sit here, once I have posted, and know John Doe must be reading my discussion post and thinking, "Wow, she’s a rambler."

    or you could have,

I will sit here, once I have posted, and know John Doe must be reading my discussion post and thinking, "Wow. She’s a rambler."

My point is you can have it either way, (but I do not know what the feelings of the writer) as long as it has the quotation marks. But "wow" needs to be capitalized.

    Hope it helps.

  3. Since the word "She's" is the first word of the sentence, it should be capitalized. The whole sentence does, though, need quotation marks around what John Doe is thinking.

    I'd suggest:

I will sit here, once I have posted, and know John Doe must be reading my discussion post and thinking "Wow. She’s a rambler."

    or

I will sit here, once I have posted, and know that John Doe must be reading my discussion post and thinking "Wow. She’s a rambler."

  4. I will sit here once i have posted, and know John Doe must be reading my discussion. Post and thinking "wow, she's a rambler".

    i thinkkkkkkkkk

    goooooooooodluuck :D

  5. Once I have posted, I will sit and know "John Doe" must be reading the discussion post and thinking, "Wow, she's a rambler!".
