well i have a toshiba satellite, its a couple of years old but its still in good condition. earlier today, my computer had frozen. this wasn't normal but today it was happening a lot, so i went to start and clicked restart, but the programs like msn, wouldn'tt close so the computer couldn't restart, so i pressed and held the power button and turned it off then turned it on.

this is where the problem is.

the computer turns on as it normally would, same sounds and noises, it goes past the toshiba screen and then goes to the screen with the windows screen and loading bar, but once its done loading the screen goes black, but monitor is still on, and then it goes pitch black as if the monitor was turned off. and then it goes back to the toshiba page, so its restarting. i pressed f8 god knows how many times, and i've gotten to the screen where i can choose to go into safe mode, these are the options i get.

safe mode

safe mode with networking

safe mode with command prompt

enable boot logging

enable VGA mode

Last known Good configuration

Directory services restore Moda

Debugging Mode

Disable automatic restart on system failure

start windows normally

Reboot.

ii have chosen each of them once or twice, all except enable boot logging and directery services restore mode.

please help.
