  1. That issue is audio driver incompatibility. Try to download Realtek for Vista  from this link http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/SOUND-C... and the sound will work. If that doesn't work, try to go back to your Windows XP. Good luck

  2. That happend to me when I formatted my laptop once, and I tried restarting my computer tons of times and it didn't work, but then one day I had it shut down and when I opened it, it made that sound that it makes when you turn on your computer and the speakers have been working ever since then....so either call customer service to help you, or wait for it to come back by itself...Good Luck!

  3. Reormat.

  4. Did you plug in the speakers and turn them on?  lol

  5. try restoring your computer to factory settings, then reinstall it with the discs, of course before you do anything create a backup of all your work, so that you will not lose it!

Then, when it has been reformatted and reinstalled, then all original features (such as sound) should be reinstalled.

  6. are there any error messages?
