    "Natale con i tuoi, pasqua con chi voi" = Christmas with your family and Easter with whomever (you wish).

    here as holiday we have the 24th-25th of december, xmas.. then 1st and 6th of jenuary, normally we even have two-three days in february... then about then first-second week in april there are the easter holiday, and always on april the 25th.. which is the "liberation" day, where the nasist went away during second world war.. then the 15th of august, called "ferragosto", the 1st of november (halloween for you i think) and to end the 8th of december, which is the virgin mary day.. and i think i've sais all.. ah no, i'm forgetting the 1st of may... that's the worker party day,, but i dont think is just italian, i know that even in the netherland they party it.. then, i dont know.. eheheh..

    as far as italian population... i think winter holidays, which usually goes from december 23 to january 8.

    The schools are closed from June to mid-September, 15 days for Christmas vacation and a few days off for Easter.

  8. I'm italian and I live in Italy! I can assure you that the most important holiday in Italy is Christmas! It is the period during which everybbody like to have launchs and dinners with parents. Then there is the first of the year...as in every country in the world I think! And then Easter when people like to have launchs end dinners with parents too!!
