Help on child development at school...

i am making a set of dominoes for child development as a junk toy we have to make but i am stuck on what to make it out . it has to be strong but child friendly so can you help me on what to make it out of!!

  1. Here are some things that I thought of that have the correct shape-

    you will have to try them out to see it they work at "falling over"

    brown lunch bags filled with crumpled newspaper

    egg cartons (cut in half or cut one end so they stand up)

    clip clothespins (standing them with open end on the floor)

    VHS tapes or VHS boxes (used book stores have tons of these)


  2. you can use cardboard boxes if you want them to stand up. you can cover with paper and decorate them.

    if you dont need them to stand up you can use strong paper or laminate it so they last longer.

  3. Try your local scrap store, you may find some cd boxes which make excellent sturdy bases that you can stick paper to. Or you could try card and then laminate for durability. Best of luck
