  1. PLEASE, do yourself a favour and cancel it. Last year we took the same package. Here is the story. Last day of the cruise my mom gets sick, real sick. Se had a terrible kidney infection. We had to rush her to the hospital. In the evening my 2 year old and my 10 month old get sick with gastroenteris. By that time we had to cancel our flight back home and stay at Disney again. Doctor rushed to the hotel's room. Two days later we finally get home, and I found out in the past Disney cruises has had some health issues. Look it up one if I recall ir right was in 2004 and there is another. Better spend all your time at a Disney resort and stay away from the ships, besides Royal Caribbean or Princess have better ships.

  2. make sure that transportation is included from the hotel to the port. its like 30 min/45 min drive to the port from orlando. we had the magical express and thought it included transportation to the ship..nope. call the cruise line and see. also make sure it is claified what room and hotel you are in because if its not they might downgrade your hotel (big mistake)if we could do it again we would book a cruise with royal or carnival and book the theme park seperate

  3. Disney is the best cruise line!  I have been on 6-7 night cruises and this is the ONLY cruise line I will ever go on!

Go on the Disneycruise.com website so that you can get ready.  There are so many activities that they have planned and the restaurants are amazing.

They have 3 pools, kids, family and adult only.  There is a very nice gym and spa area that is wonderful.  You don't need a lot, just a couple bathing suits, some good walking shoes if you plan on taking some shore excursions, sunglasses...If you are only going on the 4 day cruise you only need a couple nice outfits for dinner and couple pairs of shorts.

ALL the food is included (except alcohol) throughout the day so you don't need to bring any with you.  You will have your room key to charge anything you may purchase from the gift shop so you won't even need to carry cash or credit cards with you on the ship.

The best part is the private island, Castaway Cay!  You can bring your own snorkel gear or you can borrow theirs, it is so much fun!

Have fun and enjoy, you will want to book another before you are even off the ship!

  4. I just came back from a Disney Cruise.  Disney was very well organized with pre-trip briefings (you can go look up your reservation, shore excursions, seating assignments, Palo Room reservations) that you should receive in the mail   Contact your travel agent and/or Disney Cruise directly.

For kids, Disney Quest takes up most of Deck 5 and they have over 70 counselors to plan activities for kids of all age groups, teens, couples, families, and even singles/single parents.

You can peruse inputs and reviews from professtionals and from other recent passengers at www.cruisecritic.com.  I used this site to help find out what some people did like and suggestions.  I also used negative feedback to better prepare for the trip.

All in all , Disney took care of us from the moment we landed to the shore excursions, entertainment, shows, seminars/lectures, dining....every aspect was well managed.

Disney will print out bulletins every night and leave them in your stateroom of shore excursions, shows, activities, movies for each age group.

    Good Luck and have fun!

  5. Hi I've been on a 7 night Disney Cruise. For a 3 night cruise you won't need formal gear, just something nice to wear to dinner. Casual gear such as shorts & t-shirts are worn most of the day.

Things included are food, soft drinks (of the coke brand), shows, movies, other nightly entertainment, character meets. Kids have their own clubs. There are 3 swimming pools, one is adults only.

Activities to do at the port are listed on the Disney Cruise Line website. You can pre book them 75 days before your cruise.

There is another website where you can ask questions from previous cruisers. It is called the Disboards and they have a cruise forum which has a lot of info.

  6. I went on the Disney Wonder when I was 13 years old in 2006...it was the land and sea package....it was the end of august when we went so it was hurricane season....the ship is amazing...it was my 3rd cruise and so far, my favorite...there is so much to do for any age...people think that Disney is too babyish for teens but no way!!! it was so much fun....there are tons of great shows, amazing food...both kid friendly and grownup friendly...the cabins are bigger than a normal size of a cabin that u would find on another cruise....the staff are so helpful and friendly you feel like you have ur own personal butler....the pools are great...there are 3: kids with a water slide(mickey), family pool(goofy) and then an adult pool...the bars aren't expensive as you may think...and you get free icecream and drinks 24/7...about the shows....throughout ur cruise there will be a number of shows....after dinner each night, there will be a show in the theatre...one night they will have a show about one of the disney movies...the one that i saw was hercules...it was AMAZING! the show was like you were watching a broadway play...the music the cast everything was so real...you forget that u r on a ship....then they will have a comic and then maybe another performance for the night shows...as for the bars and lounges, there are also shows in them....one day there is a talent show, which is fun...there is usually a band that is onboard and they will perform every night....there is what's called late night fun which is like a club for teens....there is dancing and music and food...also on the ship is a midnight buffet, actually at 11, where you can get food, obviously....and there are some amazing ice scupltures...i strongly reccomend it....one night there is a small mexican buffet with excellent food, also reccomend it.....as for the staterooms, there is an animal made out of a towel every night along with chocolates on ur pillow....its amazing how they make the animals out of towels....if you ever see ur maid, i would ask them how they make the animals... thats what i did, and she showed me how to make a monkey..it was really cool!!! the rooms are always very clean and fresh....ok, now for nassau, i assume u mean the private island castaway cay....we never ended up going there...remember how i told u that it was hurricane season? well of course we got stuck it in....the hurricane was headed right for castaway cay, so we couldn't go there...instead we went to cosumel mexico...it was a lot of fun there!!! and the port that we were supposed to dock into was damaged by the hurricane, i think it was frances, we had to find another port to dock into...since the one that we were going to go to was full, we had to wait until there was room for us to dock....it was ft lauderdale....we had to wait 3 days at sea until the port had an empty spot for us....so we ended up getting 3 free days at sea, and $300 per cabin to spend onboard because they felt bad for us....so this was my absolute favorite cruise ever and i will never forget it...i hope that i helped you, and if you have any questions please send me a message!!! Have an awesome time!! It will be so much fun!!! = ]
