Help on scamming craigslist?

so i listed my psp on craigslist. and i get about 5 or 6 emails and some of them seem like a scam. but they want to pay me on paypal.

now heres the thing, i use a visa giftcard as a debit card on paypal so all the money i recieve stays on my account. if someone were to send me money then i send the item with a tracking number and they try to scam me, i could just spend the money on something else online and there wouldnt be any money in my account for paypal to automaticaly refund. but paypal has my address so would they send cops or somethign after me? i mean im just tryin not to get scammed here

I do all Craigslist purchases in cash and in person.  You are correct to be wary. /
