Help! parents are being insane!?

my parents are going away next weekend and i got invited to my friends sisters 18th. they are a good respectable family and stuff, but my parents are probably not going to let me go. they are going on and on about how i wont be safe and all this bullocks. im would stay at my other best friends house after and i dont see how there is a problem in all of this!

i behave well and get good marks at school and all this sh*t but my rents are still being horrid! plz advice would be appreciated what can i do!!!!!

i have been crying for ages because they are so unfair and dont respect me at all!!!

First of all how old are you? Maybe the figure there will be drinking over there and they don't want you to get hurt. Alot of things can happen. I understand how you feel I felt the same way when I couldn't go out or anything even if it was just a simple safe place. But it is hard for parents to feel comfortable knowing that it is possible that you can get hurt by going someplace that might be serving alcohol or where there could be older guy (or gurls) that could try and pressure you. I don't know their reason  but just realize that they love you and just don't want anything bad to happen to you so many people are killed from so many things that it is best to be safe then sorry. I hope this helps you and I wish you all the best. Maybe if you can ask your parents if you can go for a certain amount of time and be home by a set hour or something. I'm a smartie in school - great grades and everything.

i dont care how respectable this family is- if shes turning 18, this isnt for you. youre two years younger, and they proabably only invited you so her sister wouldnt be alone. they probably would tell you guys to stay in her room and not want you with her freinds.

most likely, people who werent invited are going to go, and things are bound to get out of hand. and if shes just your friend, nothing more, not even best friend, your deff only going to see guys and be in that scene.

its gunna be fun, and your going to miss it, lolll jk, but just understand ^ thats where your parents are coming from. they know how teens are and think how wild you would want ur 18th to be! you would want everyone and their mother there and crazy stuff everywhere.

its just not an atmosphere for you yet, and maybe they just dont want you influenced by anything. a lot can happen
