well first of all, I have my contacts since august 07. Evrything was good until four months ago. the first thing t hat i noticed is that my eyes were getting red, then I went to the doctor he told me to wear my contacts for not more than 8 hours and he gave me some rewetting drops. L a ter one i got it again, so I went again and he gave me some drops. BUT NOW, I only have one red eye, and am sensitive to the light and i start to cry , I honestly used 5 types of eyedrops. It was getting a little better until I saw a white cloudy point (it looks like eye bugger) on my eye, Its really tiny, and I went online and they say something about cataracts! I just want to know what do you guys think. I sure dont want to lose my sight....;[

please anybody with the same problem or with some kind of knowledge please answer me. What do you guys think I have? my friend had this eye bacteria that was eating his eye , and AM worried that I might end up blind!!!!!!!!

  1. I would suggest not wearing your contacts for atleast 2 weeks to give your eyes time to heal.  Sounds like you have a nasty eye infection.  You would probably be best to get new contacts, and PLEASE follow your optometrist's instructions!

You can not live with your contacts in your eyes, you must remove them as directed in order to give your eyes time to rest and breath.

The white spots are mineral deposits on your eyes from not cleaning your contacts.

  2. GO BACK TO YOUR EYE DOCTOR AND SHOW HIM! I had issues with my cornea and literally baby sat by this doctor's office and finally I am cured. I will advice you to go and discuss this with your eye doctor. Chances are you caught something in your eye because your eyes turn red when they are irrated by something such as bacteria. As for the solution you may need to use Clean Care which is a stronger cleaner for contacts. But for now do not put on your contacts and go to your eye doctor.
