  1. Centre, wing or fullback if he likes the physical aspect of the game flanker.

  2. just let him go training the coaches will decide the best position for him i played for years always thought i played best in the second row the coaches thought i was best suited in at tighthead prop and so i played that position for 7 years the coaching staff will do what is best for him.hope that helps.

  3. winger

  4. I have played every position on the rugby field. From my experience openside flanker and fullback are the best positions to play.

While he is young you may as well have a crack at fullback. He will have a lot of fun there. Flanker is definately the best position to play as you get older and more experienced.

  5. Possibilities

    1) If he passes well use him as fly.

    2) fast and confident and is good under pressure outside centre. Position to run but has to have agility not just speed.

    3) If just speedy and strong minded put him at no 8 or second row. I break run meaning i pace thru people and put my body on the line in this pos he should do the same. If he a hard hitting kid put him there!

  6. Sounds like an open side or blind side flanker to me.

  7. Its no good just looking at his stats, he will have to go to training and the coachesthen decide his ability and best position. Also because he is only 12, they will also look at his father, yourself if you are older and see how he is likely to fill out in maybe a year or two.

    Good Luck.
