  1. it's kind of common with a lot of people. i know a couple people who still do it. but i'm not really sure if theres a 'medication' per se. try not to drink beverages before you sleep, try not to eat before you go to sleep and make sure you use the bathroom before you sleep. theres nothing wrong with telling your pediatrician you still wet the bed. if your mother and father know they should probably tell your pediatrician, unless theres nothing u can do. you have an over active bladder.

  2. Sorry to hear you're still going through this.  You're definitely not alone -- LOTS more kids your age still have this problem than you would think, they just don't want to tell anyone about it either (as you know)!  I'm assuming your parents know about your problem?  If they know, and are supportive (and don't make fun of you or punish you for it), they will probably be your best source of help.  Without going to a doctor, you could ask your parents to try ordering you a bedwetting alarm (look it up here: http://www.bedwettingstore.com ) -- which is designed to help you learn to wake up when your bladder is full before you have an accident.  They work better for some kids than others but are definitely worth a try!

If your parents aren't supportive (and you're looking for something to try on your own), you could try setting your own alarm clock for different times during the night, to see if you can get yourself up to go to the bathroom.  Try setting it for about 3 hours after you go to bed; if you wake up already wet, set it a little earlier the next night and so on until you find something that works.

If you have a small bladder (your doctor can tell you this, or if you have to go to the bathroom much more often during the day than most kids your age, you probably do) you can try forcing yourself to "hold it" a little extra long during the day before going to the bathroom.  This can help your bladder to stretch a little bit so that you can hold it in longer at night.  Just don't overdo it too much; stretching TOO much can cause other problems with your bladder, plus you don't want to have any accidents!

Good luck, I hope this gets better for you soon!
