I'm thinking about buying a 5150 stroke snowboard with 5150 mx25 bindings for $229.00... is this a good board/bindings? is it a good price? Thanks for the help!

  1. Not sure if I have the same style board but I've had a 5150 board and bindings for a couple yrs and love it. It's not the best out there but its been a good board for me. When I bought mine about 2 yrs ago I spent about $250 but it also came with solomon boots.

  2. It is a good price, but I've paid just a little more for far better equipment.

I would say that the board is fine (even though it isn't a top of the line brand), but I would spend a little extra and get better bindings. The RIDE EX bindings go for a street price of around $100 on the internet and at end of season clearances and are way better bindings.

Last year I found brand new Ride snowboard (at least two previous model years old) that had been sitting on the shelf for a long time with some scratches for only $100 - now that is a good deal.

    Good Luck
