Help with 79 Chevy pickup?

How to take the thing that you roll the window up and down off. The window has came off the track and I got the panel and everything loose. But I can not seem to get the handle off.

there is a small clip on the back of the handle. If you push in on the door panel you should be able to see it. You can pop it off with a small screwdriver or even a small hook type knitting needle.

there is a spring clip in back of the handle that has to come out to get the handle off, go to the parts store and buy the special tool that it takes to get it off.

auto parts stores sell a tool to remove the clip. flat metal with groove cut in to fit behind the window handle and push the clip off.

if you push in on the door panel and look at the inside edge of the crank, you should see a clip that holds the crank onto the shaft. pull clip off adn the rest should be easy.
