Question:

Help with London Trip?

I'm taking a group of my friends in to London the weekend after next (from lunchtime until late night) and am looking for some interesting places to go in the Covent Garden, Leicester Sq, Regent Street, Oxford Street sort of area. I'm willing to travel further afield than this if need be.

Places that have been a hit on previous trips are:

Momo's shisha cafe in Heddon street (off Regent St)

The Ice Bar in Heddon Street

Shisha cafe at the back of Trocadero

Waxy O'Connors near to Trocadero.

A fantastic Japanese restaurant that I can't remember the name of.

These places had interesting and different interiors, weird and exotic food and drinks, were relaxing and were not prohibitively expensive.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

Many Thanks

  1. go on the bus trip and you can jump off and on again and they tell you about the place where is best to go great value for money and very help full

  2. Can I suggest that you add Sarastro to your itinery, it's on Drury Lane, and is definitely interesting!

  3. Don't know, but my dad is a racist and I always wondered why, it is because my mother is of english heritage.(my dad was a lousy father and an even worse husband!)

  4. Walked passed the Madras Curry Centre in Covent Garden last weekend - the food looked amazing (through the window) and the smells creating queues!!. 126 Cleveland St, London W1T 6PQ. Appeared to be thalis and such on attractive platters as well as normal things on the menu and really inexpensive too. I can't wait to go and try it myself. WARNING!! Covent Garden was the busiest and buzziest i'd ever seen it - give yourself plenty of time......maybe book and then walk around whilst waiting for your table.
