Help with Naruto Fanfic missions?

I'm asking this for a friend that is writing a fanfic and she was wondering what other kind of missions the characters(of Anbu status) could go on instead of something like retrieving or delievering a scroll. Any help would be apperciated! ^_^

assassinations, spying/gathering information, infiltrating enemy bases... it could to be anything. tell her to use her imagination. anything a ninja might do :)
