Help with a specific sport!?

Question

I don't know the name of it, it just know how to explain it. There is a board straped to your feet, like a surf board, but it has straps. You hold a parachute, but I don;t know if its a actual Parachute, but I think it is. You hold onto the handle, you can do a lot of neat tricks with it. Its a water sport, when i saw it on TV, it said that is was inspired my Skateboarding a surfing. Anyone know what this is? 10 Points to the first who is right!

its official name is kitesurfing but is more frequently called kiteboarding. its basically a wakeboard with bindings, but you are harnessed into a kite like parachute. the kite catches wind and propels you through the water. along with the harness, you are attached to a control bar which steers the kite.
