Help with an Ecological question please

If you were to leave your garden unattended, will it revert to choas (entropy) or would it become more ecologically stable?

  1. The weaker plants will die, the weeds will survive by sucking their nutrition off

    Of course, with the weeds it'll look a mess but it will stabilize

    few plants will survive, insects will breed and spiders too


  2. It might appear to be chaos to us because it's not our desired result.  However, a cultivated garden is not ecologically stable.  We want there to be plant (weed) free dirt in between our nicely organized rows or beds.  But, a stable state is when there is a diverse community of plant species, occupying the many possible niches.  So, when it is left unattended, it will become more ecologically stable.

  3. Mine is a mess.
