ok so heres what i have to do:

Many ancient ruins are now tourist attractions. Choose one of them and do a model of it .

So i was just wondering what i could do and if the grand canyon is 1?

umm..you could do a model of the ruins of machu picchu or the stone henge

the coliseum is a popular choice too i think

The grand canyon is not a site of ruins. It's a natural feature. Ruins refer to old buildings which have fallen apart, such as the Stone Henge (which has a lot of interesting speculations about its purpose), or the many old castle ruins littered around Europe. You can find lots of info on Wikipedia and through Google. Thank goodness for the internet!

By Ancient ruins I'm assuming your assignment is not about geological landmarks but about old villages/towns/empires/etc. that have been destroyed.

Maybe do one of the old areas of the Maya's Inca's Aztec's?
