Question:

Help with iMac OS X?

I have a new iMac that stopped working. It would have a pop up that said "You need to restart your computer" every time you'd try to turn it on. All of a sudden it started to work for a few hours, then shut down again. We tried EVERYTHING to fix it. Any help?

This is what it looks like:

  1. Try to free up some disk space and index your files.

  2. That is a cleverly disguised kernel panic, an error on UNIX systems similar to the blue screen of death on Windows. It is probably a driver or hardware issue, so I would call Apple or take the computer to an Apple store to get it fixed or possibly replaced.
