Help with installing a font?

I'm having trouble with a font I downloaded. It's a zip file that I tried to extract, but Windows says 'the file destination cannot be found'? And somehow I got it to a regular file I guess? But when I try to move it into the font folder, it says it's not a valid font and cannot be installed. :( Does anyone know how to fix this?

Windows only takes 'True type' fonts and 'Open type' fonts. if the font is neither of these it wont work. Can you tell us the name if the file
