I am at work at my hotel and a lot of our guests are from abroad, I can't seem to make it happen, we are trying to call Bogota and Ireland using 011 then the country and area extension. What am I doing wrong, I thought it was a hard line problem with our system but I tried the call on my cell phone and received a "your international call could not be completed as dialed? I know its a stretch but could anyone help me out?

  1. 011 + 353 + Area Code+ Tel #

    Hope that helps...

  2. Make sure you drop the initial zero from the area code of the country you are calling, as this is not needed for incoming overseas calls.  If you include the zero, your call will almost certainly fail in the way you have stated.

For example, if you were trying to call 021-x*x-xxxx in Cork, Ireland, you need to dial it as 011-353-21-x*x-xxxx from the U.S.
