okay i have cast myself for a role for disneychannel. i think i have a pretty good chance to be chosen to audition. only, i live in PA. is it possible that there would be multiple auditions in various states, or only one in LA? and if i do get chosen and by some miracle my parents fly me out to LA, how should i present myself? (i,e, what do i wear, should i be early, etc)

  1. You probably will not be called. You need to live in LA. Not going to happen, sorry.

  2. Disney Channel usually looks for wholesome-looking kids, so don't wear anything too s**y or revealing.  No t-shirts with a pot leaf graphic on it!  Wear clothing cute and age appropriate - bright colors may attract their attention more than something white or khaki.  If you're a girl, keep your make-up and hair simple and more natural-looking instead of something dramatic and weird.

But I agree with the other answerer, to keep true to yourself.  If your style is bohemian, wear something like that.  If you're a skater punk, dress like yourself but just be aware that it might be a little extreme for the nice middle-aged executives, so you might want to tone it down a bit.

People who run auditions love chatty kids - it's no fun interviewing someone who answers in "yes" and "no" only.  Be friendly and bubbly and outgoing, and have some fun stories or anecdotes in your mind if they ask you open-ended questions.

    Good luck!

  3. Be your self, if they want you it's because they see something they like, so don't mess that up by try to change who you are. Just  act like you normally would, and it never hurts to be a little early, 10 or 15 minuets is good.
