  1. The subs are rated at 400 watts rms and 800 watts max. if you wanted to stay name brand with the subs, then you could use a zx750.1 or a zx500.1. The 750 is almost perfectly matched as far as rms power. the 500 will work, but they wont play to there full potential. If you want to go with another brand, you want to look for quality power. Not all amps are created equal. You get what you pay for. a lot of amps will have there power rating on the outside of the amp, but they are not true power. For example, a kicker zx1000.1 retails for $699.99 and is rated at 1000 watts and actually puts out close to 1100. A Sony xm2002gtr amp states on the amp that it is a 1200 watt amp for $189. It is a 500 watt max amp, it is really a 350 watt amp.  So basically, when you look for an amp, don't just look at the amp, look at the actual spec sheet on the amp and find out all of its stats. Hope this helps.

  2. any kicker 2 ohm stable monoblock will do, if you have a ported box, you need more power if you have a sealed box

  3. One Kicker CVR Is 600 Peak & 300 Rms Both Subs Is 1200 Peak & 600 Rms. Make Sure You Focus On RMS Not Peak. Peak Doesnt Mean ****. Just Picture It Not There. You Will Need A Mono (1-Channel) Amp That Has 600 Rms (Nothing More Than That!) Check This Amp Out Below It Will Fully Power You Subs.

  4. simple-

Figure out what or how much power the subs can handle, go out and find an amp the can run the much or a little more power RMS. Just because a amp says "1500" watts, doesnt mean it puts out that much truely. The RMS level is what the amp can put out continusly, thats where you want to match up the spaeker with. AMP RMS level + subwoofer max watts = maximum performance!!!

P.S. Never run 2 speakers at the same time off of a monoblock amp, you'll burn it up!
