  1. A flexible routine is the key. Singlegals idea of prioritizing "must do" items and then filling in with other activities is great. Also delegate. Children can learn @ a young age to help out. When they get older you will be so glad they learned to take responsibility for chores. Learn to say no to time stealers (people or events that take your time but do not contribute to your overall goals).

  2. Take a piece of paper, a llloonnggg piece of paper, and write down the hours in your day....from the time you arise to the time you normally go to bed.... Since each day is different to some degree you may have to do this for each day of the week.

Next, write in the "must do" things for each day.  ie:

7 a.m. make breakfast for everyone

8 a.m. kids get their own baths/get dressed, clean up their room

9: a.m. start home schooling lessons

3 p.m.  house cleaning, laundry ( kids can help w/ this, depending on age can fold dry laundry and put it away, run the vacuum, do the dusting etc. life should not be  a "free pass" for kids, they need to learn responsibility at a young age, another day could be an outdoor day: rake leaves, weed flower beds etc... or take a walk together)

    4 p.m.  online course

6 p.m. dinner (kids wash the dishes while you and hubby spend some time together)

    7 p.m.   family time

9:30  p.m. hubby time.. kids in bed

Once you get through with the things you absolutely must do every day there will be  time left over   for other things.... reading, movie, night out with hubby   and so on...
