Help with painting my living room?

Question

I want to paint my living room and i have a dark navy sofa and light beech floor and cabinets wat colour would go best with these??

Im only 22 so i want a look that is modern.

Go for a metallic paint if you want something really different - silver would be amazing.  If you could find a wallpaper with navy, silver and a lighter colour (off-white, ivory etc) in it for one feature wall, you'd have a very contemporary and original room.

try painting 3 walls a light colour (a creamy colour) and your main wall a darker colour. use dulux diamond matt. for the wood work iwould suggest dulux white satinwood, it is hard wearing and dosnt shine as much as gloss.

P.S.  im a decorator with 24 years in the trade.

Beige sounds like it would work.
