There are tons of quotes out there. The best meaningful quotes should relate to something that has happened in somone's life. It's best and has the deepest meaning for you, if the quote is related to something in YOUR life.

For example, there are two quotes that have great meaning in my life.  "Success is when preparedness meets opportunity." - Earl Nightengale and "Ninety percent of success can be accomplished by just showing up" - Woody Allen

My fist favorite quote is from Earl Nightingale. It is: "Success is when preparedness meets opportunity."

Some people would say when I sell a big order at work that I’m lucky. I don't believe in luck. It takes preparation and opportunity. A person has to just STICK TO IT, until the opportunity comes my their way AND opportunity eventually will.

Opportunities comes to every one. If your are unprepared you will fail. When your prepared and the opportunity comes your way, you will know it, and be ready for it. Then you'll be able to grab and hold on tight and enjoy the ride!

Also in my life the Woody Allen quote, "Ninety percent of success can be accomplished by just showing up" has quite a bit of meaning. .

I know of a true tale where I just showed up for a question competition. Not even prepared and took the test. There were 50 to 60 people who took the test. I gave it the college try by answering what I knew and guessing at the rest.

The next day at the awards ceremony when they called SECOND PLACE, they called my name. As I reached for the plaque the MC put her hand over the microphone and told me that I only got two questions correct and the first place contestant got three questions correct.

I wouldn't have gotten any recognition among my peers if I hadn't even competed.  This is a true testament to the statement that ninety percent of success can be accomplished by just showing up.
