  1. for more power when hitting:

make sure the last two steps of your spike approach adn fast and powerful.  Your last step should make a stomping sound on the ground (its weird at first but it works). Also make sure you don't drop your elbow and that you're pulling your arm all the way back and then snapping through.  Also keep the ball in front of you.

    for more power serving:

swing your hips faster.  The faster your hip turns and your foot pivots the more power your going to get behind the ball and the faster its going to go.

    for passing:

make sure yor feet point to the direction that you want the ball to go.  Keep your arms straight and your platform angle down and extend with your legs instead of swinging your arms.  You should always do your footwork so that you pass the ball with your arms in the center of your body.  Putting your arms to the side is only really for emergencies or when your far off the net and need to send the third ball over.

    for the team in general:

always call the ball and talk on the court.  you should even talk to yuor teammates to let them know what the other team is doing.  calling "outside hit" or "cross, line, or tip" really helps.  Also the backrow players should tell the front row hitters what parts of the court are open by saying "cross" or "line" or telling them to tip to the middle ( the "hole").

    Hope this helped.

  2. A really good site for this type of thing is http://www.volleyball.lifetips.com

They have good drills, tips for coaches, tips for beginners, etc. I think the best thing to do is to first have good team spirit, and have everyone trust eachother. That's how our team started out, and we've been doing well. We have a great coach. Give your coach a list of sites with cool drills and such, that are good for building team spirit, training, and having fu nall at once. That's what we do.

    Hope I helped!

  3. Go for team bonding. If you feel like sisters out on the court, you are more likely to back eachother up like sisters as well.

  4. If you are concern about your technique work on it and be aware of what you are doing. It does nothing to set 200 times if you do it wrong. Instead try to get mechanics right.  There are lots of videos and stuff but I found very helpful the coaches manual from the FIVB. I even got the manuals for free.
