Help with this please??

Question

My best Friend is a year older today, and i am mailing out her gift today, cause we don't near each other no more =( I wanted to make this a cheap gift for her, cause i am saving up enough money to go to her on her 15th birthday, and i wrote her a friendship poem, and got a picture frame that i can put 2 pictures in it. I put the poem on one side, and our recentest picture of each other together in it. Then i got her a necklace. =) And this last part of a gift i got from an article i once saw. I have everything to do it, but not sure how. Ok, its like a notebook, and we send in back and forth to each other by mail. I want to decorate it, but not sure with what, and we send like a little thing with it. And i have no clue what to write, i want to write like cool stuff, cause we do still talk on the computer. Buts its something that we will enjoy. So what should i decorate it with and what kind of stuff should i write in it, cause we do still talk?? Thanks. =)

As far as decorating it goes, you should stick to drawing on it, because if you glue something to it or anything else, it will get damaged mailing it back and forth.

What to write: either use it as a sort of journal or diary, or just write letters about things you might not think to talk about when you're IM-ing or talking.

Good luck on keeping in touch with her. I'm bad about drifting away from people when I've moved or changed jobs, no matter how close we were until then.
