I am suppose to take these Parisian around Toronto. They've been here for 4 days...exact for one day at Marine Land, they seemed very bored. I ask them what they want to go..and they say...nothing, whatever you want.

I've taken them to Chinatown, Canada's Wonderland, AGO, dinners and lunches at Everest, Lee, and 360....I don't think they enjoy any of it....but are too polite to say.

They're family/friends, so I've paid for most of everything. I would've mind if they were having fun...dammit...someone give me some ideas; soon I am just going to drop them in Montreal if their "boredom" continues. One is 14, the other is 30...

  3. They sound very ungrateful.

Take them to Montreal and ditch them at the Old Port.  Plenty of places around there for them to indulge in their boorishness.

Why do you have to take these guys around anyway?  Familial obligation?

***EDIT*** obviously I can't read...try and unload them on another family member!

  4. I'm sorry, but there's pretty much no chance they'll be impressed with Toronto, especially since they came from such a historic and beautiful city like Paris. Let's face it- Toronto is dull.

If you're looking for something historic, take them to the Mt. Pleasant Cemetary.

  5. lol. wow, that's....well that's pretty funny. but, i think it's cool of you to be so nice to them. you have to consider that they are foreign and are most likely shy or something.

have you tried just joking around with them, kind of act as if they were your friends, you know? or just try to loosen them up. maybe they are just really marveled by all the places you have been taking them? maybe you should try asking them what stuff they usually do at home, and if they wanted to do some similar stuff in Toronto?

you want to make them feel at home, while still taking them places they have never been before! i seriously have no experience in the area, so i don't know how crazy i sound. (usually it's pretty crazy.)

they might just be shy, or maybe a little freaked out? i don't know what kind of ppl they are, and neither do you. so try to get to know them if you haven't tried already? good luck man...=]Sarah
