Help with wig care please?

my wig is black and like 4 or 5 feet long....it is like a birds nest its so bad and it is fake hair

any ways to get out the tangles and make it smooth? I really need it for my next cosplay!!!!

Fake hair or not, you should start by washing it, and you can even try a detangler. but definitely wash it and then brush it out in sections while still damp, try to find somewhere where you can lay it out flat to do this. Good Luck
