What are the causes of the downfall of youth other than parents and the individual?

  1. Here are a few:

    - Society in general.  It is society that decides whether each youth is supported or condemned.  Society may accept or reject individual youth based on their gender, race, or behavior.

    - Bad grades - when students get bad grades and finds that they are unable to find success in a culturally-approved system (like the school system) they often give up and seek approval from other sources such as deviant peers and organizations.

    - Poor behavior - students who exhibit poor behavior are often labeled as "bad students" and are treated as such whether they continue to be bad students or not.
