Help!!!!my emac wont start!!!!!!! idk why?

its a A1002 and one this morning i start it up and it turns into a gray screen with no cursor but in the center a e mac finder icon and a folder icon with a queston mark i dunno wut happend i dont hav internet and i havnt installed software in a long time and the only app i use is garage band soooo plz helpp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you still have the system software disks, try restarting with that. Then you may have to re-install the system software. If you don't feel confident doing that, you should probably take it to an Apple dealer or service centre as the other person suggested.

It sounds like the Operating System got deleted.  Take it to your local Apple store for a proper diagnosis.
