i would like to make a balance beam but i have no idea what kind of wood or material i should use? i dint want to spend over $200 but i also want good sturdy products i live near the Springfield MA area if that helps any! please and thank yous!

You can probably practice if you have a YMCA near you. or any gymnastic gyms around. Check the newspaper in your local.
