I am 44 and suffer from complicated migraine variants including hemiplegic migraine. This variant without exception begins as weakness in the trapezius muscle and spreads from there to all muscle groups on one side.It is the first area to be paralysed in an attack. Any particular reason why it should always start there as opposed to anywhere else ?
