Hennessy or patron tequila?

whats a better drink Very Special hennessy cognac or orange patron tequila. What do you prefer?

When you say "orange patron tequila" are you taking about Patron's orange liqueur Citronage in the square bottle?  Patron's version of Cointreau to mix with real Patron tequila to a Margarita?  If so, that is very cheap orange liqueur $15 at Trader Joes compared with $45 for Cointreau.  Patron's fine tequilas come in a square base, rounded top bottle and cost $45, but are excellent and are fine sipping tequilas.

Both are over-rated and over priced.

Nothing wrong with Patron, per say, but you can get better for less, and to answer your question very generally, I like tequila much better than brandy or cognac.

Having said that, I only drink 100% agave tequila, which of course Patron is, but Patron's "hip" status with rappers and their overblown marketing make it a lot pricier than the quality warrants.
