  1. You didn't mention a top price, but judging on your criteria I assumed that you didn't want to spend outrageous amounts. The top amount I allowed was $10,000.

  2. First one has a picture, the second one doesn't but you can always ask for one.

  3. There USED to be LOTS of horse places in Pleasant Hill!  My first thoroughbred placed 2nd at a show at a stable there in Kindergarten Jumpers back in '73!

How about trying something a little south west from you?  Say Woodside, Palo Alto, Portolla Valley, even Half Moon Bay?  I bought my FIRST TB in '72 in HMB.

    Have you tried Craig's List?

  4. Horse city is one of the best to find a horse... here is the link

    http://classifieds.ehorseads.com/classif...

This site will ask you how old, what gender, what kind of horse your looking for..... lots of questions that will narrow it down.

    Good luck

  5. Have you tried horsetrader.com?  Also, go to a local stable and ask around about breeders.  Quarter horses are always a good bet.  They are just great all around.  I am also 5'6" and prefer horses over 15 hands.  Especially if you are going to do any moderate jumping.

  6. try these horses:

    dreamhorse.com horse id:1162829

    dreamhorse.com horse id:1213603

    dreamhorse.com horse id:1258852

i think you'll like these horses alot!!

  7. try aqha.com and click on classifides on left they have ALOT of horses to choose from. hope this helps!

  8. it took me four years before i found my mare. patience is a virtue.. the right horse will come along in time... youre gonna know the right horse better than someone else will. also, try craiglist.org and horsetopia.com andthe local buyer's guide-type paper..
