  1. to get faster you might want to try running track 151 isn't that big either but its cool cause i started my sophomore year  playin runningback around 150 now i'm about 170 going into my junior year try getting in the weight room in your school if they have one

  2. I find it hard to believe that you are excluded from using the same equipment available to your piers. Face it, you appear to have lost the starting position because the other guy wanted it more. It's happened to all of us in life, whether in sports, academia, or on the job. Now how will you react.

You should take this opportunity to win the position down the road. If you are committed, no one will beat you. You can only beat yourself.

You need to get into the weight room and get your legs moving.

  3. the main way is the weight room but if you cant access it then you could pay some money to buy weighted vests and do sprints with those and maybe buy your own weight set

  4. Work hard in practice. I assume you're still on the team....

Push ups, pull ups, and running uphills or stairs are the best body weight exercises you can do during the season. My advise to you is just work hard in practice. Every drill, every sprint. Match yourself up against the best players in your tackling drills and try to finish first in every conditioning.  Stand out to the coaches with your work ethic. You might find that you enjoy S or LB more.
