High school golf tryout??

Question

im trying out for the golf team and iam so nervous right now..;. what do they do at the tryout(match,9holes,skills??) anything i need to bring?

and if i do make the team..what are the things that i need to buy from the team? bags, etc????

To make the school team at my high school the first day was simply hitting range balls so the coach could look at your swing, then the second day we played eighteen holes and the team was decided. All your equipment is provided except for the shirt which the buy but get to keep. Do not worry as you will do fine, just remember to not rush and keep a level head (All you will need is to break 50 on nine to make the freshmen team).

well it probably depends on your individual school... but my guess is that you play a round of 18 for like a week and the best average gets in and  your school will probably give you a bag with the school name (it won't be impressive)

Do what the pros do----play one shot at a time. Forget the past and don't dream about the future. Play in the moment and make the best of each and every shot.
