High school job help

I'm 14 starting freshman, I live in Minnesota.

Was wondering what age can I start working. How much?

I need to make money to prepare myself for college.

My knee caused me to be out of sports so I need something to do.

What places can apply?

i have no idea for minnesota. but here in california, i think the minimum age is 15.

The age for MN at most businesses is 15. At 14 i don't think you can apply to actual businesses (like fast food restuarants or retail stores).

Yardwork for friends and family can make a good amount of money. Otherwise volunteer at a non profit organization for a year until you turn 15, it looks good on college applications and employment applications.
