You should bring everything! So you can put them in your locker and stuff along with your books ;)

first day is usually getting to know the school.

if you mean first day for learning i would just a bring a backpack with basics..

3" binder

Unless your taking classes where you had summer assignments ! have alotand have to turn stuff in on the first day be prepared to write papers or something!

for about the first week i took a binder with pens and pencils and paper.

also at my school you dont find out what you will need for your classes untill after the first day. so they shouldnt expect you to have alot!

I'm going to be a freshmen and I will probably only bring a note book with a pencil and pen
