How much would it generally cost for the city to fix like an exit ramp??

  1. According to the department of transportation, they start at $500,000 and go up from there and in most cases they always go up from the original bid.


  2. Can be very costly. A fix-up or "re-vamp" if you will, can cost well over 1 million dollars and work into the 10s if they need to hook up lights at the end of the ramp. The costly thing is hiring a state approved surveyor, work group, then, there is always registering it. Plus, the state will have to choose what level tar they want to put into the road (either 1-7). Then they have to layer the road (that stuff at the bottom of pot holes lol)

    Such a construction can take months depending on the work size and efficiency. An example of a 1 million dollar project was a cement slab to sperate two sides, both come to or leading up to crossing lights (2 pairs) and traffice light (1). They also "revamped" sealed the road. (3 way, it was kind of a corner)
