Hip-Hop Choreography...?

Question

I am choreographing a dance to Whatever U Like by Nicole Schrezinger, and i want to know if you guys have any ideas of any hip-hop walks, moves, etc. like, c-walking, that sort of thing. THANKS

I wouldn't suggest trying to put "moves with names" in, just try to feel the music out and capture the essence of the song. It helps SO much to look at other dancers and choreographers; I would recommend looking on youtube for people like Shaun Evaristo, Gigi Torres, Mariel Martin, and Blake McGrath. If you don't get inspiration from one of those four, I don't know where to send you! :)

Just do your own thing. Just play themusic, try to dance along, and it will come to you. Trust me, I do this all the time.

hhmmm what i hear when i listen to this is like this.

in the beginning you know how it has that crazy beatttt the weird soundd, follow that.

step out in the direction your traveling with the right foot, then bring the opposite foot in and dig.

then use your left foot step out and dig with the right.

then bring your right foot like you are about to step

touch your right foot out, then touch it back in,

then step on it completely on your right and dig with your left.

repeat the whole thing on your left.

so it's like.

right- step dig, step dig, step in step dig (1 count of 8)

left- step dig step dig step in step dig (1 count of 8)

once you got it down, which will be fast most likely,

add some bounce and made slide is like robotic like.

if you know what i mean. add funky arms, whatever u like :)
