Just recently I haven't been able to do CTRL + Print Screen to capture screen shots. Is there a shortcut I might of accidentally hit to disable it?

  1. If you are using a laptop, there will be a "Fn" key. Press Fn + Print Screen key to take a screen shot. If you are using a standard keyboard, just press the Print Screen key.

  2. In order to capture a screen shot, you just hit the print screen/ then open either paint or word and paste into there.  You do not need to hit the cntrl key.

  3. Press Print Screen alone! Dont press it with CTRL!

Press CTRL+V to paste the image to your documents

    It should work now.

  4. to take a screen shot CTRL is not required only the print screen!

CTRL + Print Scren is actually Sys Rq.

  5. Hey there,

To take a print screen, you do NOT need to hit the "CTRL" key. Just press the "Print Screen SysRq" key or something else similar to take the shot. You can then paste it in Paint or something else similar, then save.

If you want, you can hold "ALT" + "Print Screen SysRq" to take a shot of the active window, then paste it into Paint.

  6. It's ALT+Prt Scrn
