  1. wipe ur @ss and sell the left over wipings

  2. From dublin, take a drive to the south, and not many miles out of town you will enter the Wickelow mountains.  See St. Kevin's at Glendalough and tour the village and grounds there.  Then continue south through Wexford to Waterford and visit the glass works there.  Drive west to Cork and Kiss the Blarney stone at Blarney castle.  If tiy head west from Cork, you can visit the coast where tropical orchids bloom courtesy of the gulf stream warmth.  North from Cork to Limerick, and visit Bunratty castle and the old irish village recreation they have there.

Bone up on your Irish history, and there's a ton to do right in Dublin, aside from shopping on Grafton street.  If you're familiar with the details of the revolution, you can walk the very streets where the fighting was.  There's no markers, but you can stand where the artillery was arrayed to fire on the General Post Office.  It's not so different as it was 92 years ago.

Just North of Dublin you can visit the grounds and tour Malahyde castle, the oldest continuously occupied Castle in Ireland.  Just between Balbriggan and skerries you should stop and tour Artgillan castle (a special one for me, because my Mom grew up literally a stones throw from it).  Also north of Skerries is the ruins at Melafont Abby and newGrange, which is a rebuilt neolithic burial mound.

Ah, I've just scratched the surface. . .

  5. I live in the Capital of Ireland(Dublin) and it is a very nice and fun place to live or visit. There is a lot of places to visit .You can go shopping for hours in Dublin city  and there you can find the spire (a big sharp needle) the river liffey and many places where the 1916 rising was fought. In county Clare holds the Burren which can grow arctic plants,Tropical plats and nearly all worldwide plants and flowers. In County Louth you can find many beach resorts like Dublin!!Theres the Giant Causeway county Antrim,The hill of Tara(a very historic place) in County Meath,The Pheonix Park(largest enclosed park in Europe)county Dublin,Trinity College Dublin which houses the famous book of kells. There is only 1 let down in Ireland ,The weather can sometimes be gloomy or wet if you know what I mean. But otherwise Ireland is a great country!

    kisses frm ireland

  8. Pubs

GET DRUNK!!!  Nothing else in Ireland is important.

  9. Places that attract tourists:

    Giant's Causeway in county Antrim

    St Laurences gate in Drogheda

    Millmount Drogheda

    New grange Drogheda

    St Patrick's Catholic cathedral Antrim

    St. Patrick's Angeligan cathedral Antrim

    Down Patrick

    Kells parish

    The burren country Clare

    Glendalough

The landscapes around these places are beautiful except Laureneces gate that's around where I live and it's just in the middle of my town.

If you want to visit places like Lord of the rings go to some of the Islands on the coast of Ireland or go to Cork, Clare or Wicklow. Wicklow has beautiful mountains and it's just like being in the lord of the rings movie!

    Edit:

Wth?! Ireland isn't about getting drunk! I'm from Ireland and I don't even drink! Ireland is beautiful and there aint no other place like it! These idiots (not all of them) have no idea what Ireland's like and have obviously never been there!

Oh and she never said anything about lord of the rings being filmed in Ireland, she's just aware that the lanscapes are similar which they are.

    Why'd I get a thumbs down! =P xoxoxox

Beetroot: that remark I made wasn't even directed at you!

It was directed to the first comment!

Yeah, some people visit Ireland for a bit of craic (the gaelic for fun) but others do go round "pointing at plaques" so you don't know what you're talking about actually! Ireland isn't just about that and thanks for the thumb down since I insulted you and all =P

Grow up, and btw I'm not a "square" lol American slang but anyway I'm just 15-years-old and I don't drink. Think before you say things and then you'll know what you're talking about.

  10. The Lord of the Rings was filmed in New Zealand and not Ireland. There are castles that you can see, also pubs, glass shops where they blow the glass, why don't you do your own research so you don't have to sift through everyone else's answers?

  11. You obviously have internet access, every source is there for you to read, so get reading.

Ireland is about the people not the land, you don't go to Ireland to read plaques and point at things. You go there to laugh, listen to music and yes, get drunk.

Stay gold, I'm from the UK from an Irish family so I've spent a lot of my life there, I know what I'm talking about and I'm certainly not American, maybe you're just a bit square...
