HoW is the gas?

I live in NC and gas here has reached almost 3.60/gal. Just wanted to see where gas is in other parts of the US. Hopefully it will go down soon. What have u had to give up to pay for the gas prices? Ive had to cut down on starbucks and its killing me sinse i need the coffee.

in nyc ist close to and in some places above the $4 price, in westchester county of millionares its above $4, in the suburbs it ranges from $3.73 to $3.80+.

in CT, where i live it's around 3.90-4.00, then when you get to some millionaires' town(plenty of them here) it's about 4.23 and these are the cheapest

here in northern California the gas is $4/gal. and thats only for regular

The current price for regular in North Alabama is $3.43.

It's 3.50 today in Northern MA...when Clinton was in office a few years back it was around 1.25 and dropped as low as .87 cents a gallon.

If you stop buying Starbucks coffee at $3 a cup and buy a less expensive brand at $2 a cup, you'll save $7 a week.  If you fill your tank once a week and you have a 20 gallon tank, a $7 increase would mean that $3.60 gasoline now effectively costs $3.35.  If you brew your own coffee at home, like I do, at a cost of at most, $5 a week, then you're saving $14 a week and the effective cost of your gasoline has become $2.90 a gallon.  Simply by cutting out your high dollar cup of coffee.  Set your pot up in the evening so all you have to do is tun it on in the morning before you shower and the whole house will smell of fresh brewed coffee.  Plus, by using your reusable coffee cup, you're not adding to the environmental problem of 365 paper coffee cups every year.

mid coast Maine... $3.57ish....it actually went down .03 per gal yesterday...but i am sure it will go back up tomorrow.  I haven't had to give up anything per say... i have just changed my driving habits a bit.. i get what i need while i am out and don't make special trips for non sense things....
