Hockey gear help?

i am 11 years old and im wondering wut hockey skates and stick i should get. i dont want skates over $150 and i dont want a stick over $180. so i was wondering wut i should get. i have no brand of choice just somthing i can get in minnesota. pictures of the item help.

I had the buaer vapor skates and i loved them. They felt really good on my feet. If you get the older model they wont be that expensive.

For sticks i really like the vapors they can be really expensive or not that much

11... Still growing, so you don't want anything too nice. Also not a high competitive level, so light and really high performing doesn't matter much....

But you don't know what brand and size... So I'll say just go to a local pro shop and try on skates. Go for a low end skate, say the Easton Synergy 800 (should be on sale, easton's model is the stealth now) or the Vector 3, or something along those lines.

The other idea is going to a play it again sports and trying on used skates. Some pro shops also carry them, and they're a great option to get a decent skate at a low price, important since you'll grow out of them in a year anyway.

Stick: Easton Synthesis Jr shaft and blade. They'll be on sale, Easton has overhauled their line. Also a tapered shaft, which gets you better performance. And you can buy stick extenders to add as you grow with a composite stick.

Don't get CCM skates. I have them now and I hate them. I'c had bauers and I really liked them. I'm thinking about getting bauer vapors

I know you can get some Vapors for under 150 and some go for higher.

Sticks..I have an RBK Acuflex...LOVE it. My favorite stick I've ever had in my life, and I've had wooden sticks, Easton Ultra Lite, Easton Synergy, etc. Love this stick, and it was only about $85.

i had baur vapor5 skates which i absolutely hate and are still laying around the house.no i have the missions 95's xp's since im a defensemen on hockeygiant and monkey the sell for 150 right now. i love these skate. and as for the stick i have 3 that i rotate through the games i use a one grade lower stealth not the s17 but the s 11 i think. i also have the sl grip synergy which i got for 90 bucks at sports authority, and a Sherwood woody. which i love the most

get a nike bauer XII  its only 100 $ and it performs like the o stick  i have both and i like nike better.  as for skates, i play on the world junior team so i spent 500$ on them but u should find some eastons for around the price u r looking 4.
