  1. she's probably more nervous than you.  I think you should be very nice to her and make her feel at home.  Include her in all of the activities you do at school so she won't feel left out.

  2. i had an exchange student from france a couple months ago and it was a great experience. She only stayed for a couple weeks but overall it was great. There were a few language barrier issues but nothing serious. We basically just hung out and i showed her my life. She will be just as nervous as you are coming to a new country, and going to a new school. Just treat her like you would any friend and im sure you both will have a great time.

  3. cool, maybe your brother can take her out

  4. You're going to have a young lady visit who is very disciplined with school work, sometimes getting up before dawn to study and hitting the books till late at night (she'll make you look like a slacker).  She will be very respectful to her elders.  She will be very helpful and solicitous, and will expect that someone will ask her to help in the kitchen and straighten up.... kids take on all of the chores here, not an adult.  She will be somewhat timid and shy, and you might have to draw her out a bit.  She will not always "get" your jokes.  Other than that, she will be a normal teenager.
