  1. 411

  2. 311 is a direct line to your local City services.  Tell them what it is you need help or information on or about, and they will connect you to the appropriate city/gov't  telephone dept or phone number to help you with your issue.

  3. If it is emotional, call Kid's Help Phone  1-800-668-6868.

In the first two pages of our white pages are all the specific numbers one might need, i.e. crisis centres, child abuse hotlines, women's shelters, hospital numbers, poison info, non- emergency police #'s and dep'ts, environmental spills.  I'm pretty sure you'll have it all in the beginning of your white pages.  Find the issue and therefore the number you need.  Many of these agencies can redirect you to a place better suited to your problem.

  4. First call for help ...211
