i know the beta is coming out the end of august but i just heard home open for everyone will come out october 2008 is that true i don't believe it but i heard it from a reliable source

There is only one site for checking out beta status:

Right now there aren't any news there. Rumors say that open beta will ariive this Fall. Alpha will hit PSN in the beginning of 2009.

Definietly this year at the end or maybe not if they have to change the date for other problems
